Conference
Web 2.0 has created new opportunities to rethink how people learn on the Internet. This, combined with the rapid development of free software, created a new space for reflection in 2006, which will continue in The Fourth International Congress of Free Software and Web 2.0. The theme this year is Learning on the Web. Dates: November 25-27, 2009
See notes on the speakers.
Formal education at various levels, with particular interest in the university, and developing a culture of lifelong self-learning (Life Long Learning), based on open source technologies and applications of Web 2.0 are the main themes for this meeting; which brings together experts, practitioners and international researchers.
The congress is for all people, companies and institutions interested in free software and the development of the knowledge society.
